Reconstruction and reuse of an old stone building complex in Hametoulo of Crete

Old, dilapidated buildings in the traditional settlement of Hametoulo, Sitia, are being transformed into a modern vacation home for a family.

The central building, with its characteristic arches, will serve as a gathering space for all family members, while the adjacent structures, once used as auxiliary spaces, are being converted into sleeping quarters.

Most architectural elements are being restored, and a partial vertical extension is added to accommodate the new needs.
