A demanding European-funded project, the 65th Kindergarten of Heraklion was developed as a bioclimatic educational facility, incorporating high-quality technical specifications and demanding construction requirements.
George Spyridakis was responsible for the construction supervision and project management, coordinating contractors, construction teams and the various technical works throughout the implementation of the project.
His responsibilities also included the overall management of the project file, the administration and verification of payments, invoices and project documentation, as well as the technical inspection and verification of materials against the required specifications and standards.
He was also responsible for the coordination and communication with the relevant European Union and national control authorities, ensuring that the project complied with the requirements of the European funding programme and the applicable administrative and technical procedures.
In addition, George Spyridakis developed the complementary construction details and technical solutions required during the construction phase, addressing site-specific challenges and ensuring the accurate implementation of the architectural design.
