Renovation of a tiny apartment

A small space, originally used as a storage room, was transformed into a compact yet complete studio, where every square metre has been carefully designed and used.

A subtle recess in the southern wall created a small terrace while also protecting the opening from the intense summer sun.

The space beneath the staircase was transformed into a compact bathroom, making use of an otherwise neglected area.

The bed is designed as a lightweight structure made from interlocking, CNC-cut components — our own patented system — incorporating mobile storage drawers underneath.

Throughout the studio, birch marine plywood brings warmth, durability and a consistent material language, while its clean edges and visible layers emphasize the precision of the construction.

A restrained palette, integrated storage and carefully controlled lighting complete the space, creating a small studio that feels simple, functional and surprisingly spacious.
